Firefly retro-fit fire collars are made from steel and high pressure graphite Intumescent. Tested to AS1530.4-2005 and assessed in accordance with AS4072.1-2005 EWFA 34088500. FRL-/120/12.
Firefly RF Fire Collars are used to close off PVC pipes, HDPE pipes, beer lines, air conditioner lagged pipes and cables where they penetrate Firefly Intubatt Systems in both vertical and horizontal applications. Once the first layer of Intubatt is installed, small fixing plates are pronged into the Intubatt, then the second layer of Intubatt is installed, sandwiching the plates. These RF fire collars are then screw fixed to the Intubatt using 75mm drywall screws picking up the fixing plates within. The fixing plates are pre-punched at the corners so they can be bent 90 degrees using plyers to form pointed prongs.
