Phoenix EA is a lightweight, waterproof sarking which is foil faced on one side. A extra heavy duty sarking, it is used to wrap the outside of timber or steel roof and wall frames to provide superior protection against mild to severe ember attack during bush fires. In addition to its flammability index of 1, it has a Fire Rating Level of -/90/- when tested to AS1530.4 (for fire tests on building materials, components and structures).
