Promaseal IBS Strip is a flexible fire resistant foam strip used around service penetrations in floors and walls to maintain the fire resistance of the separating element. It can accommodate movement in building services, e.g. the expansion or contraction of metal pipes, while maintaining the integrity of the penetration. IBS Strip is coloured for ease of identification and is easy to install by compressing and inserting it into the joint or gap. The addition of sealant is optional.
