Fire Board For Internal & External Walls and Ceilings
FRS is skilled in the application and installation of fire boards. These boards are suitable for both internal and external use, as well as electrical and mechanical enclosures while incorporating acoustic and heat applications. Fire Board can provide up to 4 hours protection.
Walls and ceilings
FRS are often requested by our customers to provide solutions for difficult fire resistant jobs.
Fire boards are particularly suitable where the comparative plaster or other systems are thicker. Where plaster may not be tested in a particular application, fire boards often are.
Fire Boards are ideal for the construction of electrical and mechanical duct work enclosures, fire rated bulk heads, walls and ceilings where space is limited.
Fire board products can provide up to two hour fire protection from both directions with as little as one layer of 40mm board.
Steel beams and columns fire protection
Fire boards provide fire protection and robust finish while protecting structural steel columns and beams with a pleasing squared finish.
Fire Board also provides fire protection for many problems found in new or existing buildings and can be used in conjunction with many other commonly used fire rated products. Compatible with timber, cables, plastic and PVC and can have a textured finish.
To reduce site installation time FRS are able to pre-cut the Fire Board as required for your project. This enables us to reduce our site access time requirements and enables quick and accurate site installation.
Additionally, we can provide this in-house cutting service for DYI customers who purchase fire boards from us.
