Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment – Major Passive Fire Protection Project Nears Completion
FRS is proud to be associated with the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Redevelopment. At an estimated total cost of $689 million, this is Tasmania’s largest ever infrastructure project.
Working with The John Holland Fairbrother Joint Venture (JHFBJV), our reputation helped us secure the major passive fire protection contract and after 18 months this project is now coming to a successful conclusion. Fire Protective Spray application to structural steel and the Penetration Fire Stopping to seal a wide range of service penetrations comprised the majority of our works.
Congratulations to our team for delivering excellence once again, particularly whilst needing to work away from home for extended periods of time.
We look forward to Tasmanians being able to enjoy this safe and modern health facility for generations to come.
