We are excited to announce that we have been engaged by multiple trades to provide fire rating services at the new $1 Billion hospital. The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre is a massive undertaking, with very stringent fire rating requirements. Fire evacuation events are considerably more complex for buildings in the healthcare industry, due to the state of the occupants which means that the need to control fire becomes paramount.
Work has already begun on the initial stages of the project, and Fire Rating Solutions will be working from the early stages right through to project completion and hand over. When completed the VCCC will be the largest specialist cancer hospital in Australia.
