FRS is proud to be working with Watpac on this significant new construction project at Australian Catholic University. Located in Fitzroy, Melbourne, we are applying fire spray to structural steel over multiple levels inclusive of the multi-level carpark. To be named the Saint Teresa of Kolkata Building, this building comprises a 13 storey tower with roof-top sports courts above a seven-level basement. It will include centralised teaching facilities and informal learning spaces, a library, congregational hub and shared facilities for staff and students.
In addition, we are also undertaking the fire spray to the three additional levels being added above the existing heritage-listed Mary Glowrey Building.
This project is expected to run for most of 2020 and will result in a state-of-the-art education and recreational facilities for students at staff.
